Eaglemoss continues to produce ships under thier "Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection" label.  I have been making pre-order purchases of these ships as soon as they go online, and then wait patiently for a few months for them to come to the United States.  This has been the new norm when it comes to collecting under that "Finished" line of models, but in some cases, the wait is worth it.

The latest Shuttlecraft Collection went up for pre-order in the United states back September 2021, and I just received my set in February 2022.  I truly believe though that this set was worth that wait for several reasons.

First and foremost, this set differs from the previous seven sets in that this one contains all alien, and no Starfleet (Terran) ships.

The set consists of four smaller than Standard Edition sized models, with accompanying half height magazines and something called Okudagrams.

It's a new year here at Deep Space Pat.  I'm about to turn a year older at the end of the month and I am looking forward to a much better 2021.  Lots of good life changes in the works, and hopefully enough time to finish off the 15 articles I have queued up behind the scenes.  That all being said, let us begin...

The next model we are going to review in our Eaglemoss vs. The World series is the Xindi Insectoid Castroi Class scout ship.  This is the second Insectoid ship that Eaglemoss has brought us.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode called "Hatchery".

Next in line for the Standard Releases of the Eaglemoss Star Trek Starship collection is the Xindi Humanoid (or Primate) Ship.

We are first introduced to this type of starship in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode called "E2".

Welcome to the 24th installment of my Eaglemoss vs. the World Series.  This marks a milestone as I will now have reviewed an entire year's worth of Eaglemoss ships.  This time around, we will take a look at the Xindi Insectoid Ship which we first get to see in the Star Trek: Enterprise episode called "Twilight".

Unfortunately, only one company has ever produced a pre-built and pre-painted version of the Xindi Insectoid ship, so this will sadly be a very short article.
