EMvTW Extra 25 - USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (Constitution Class) (2254)

Rewrites: NONE YET

I swore to my readers and myself that I would not buy reprints of Eaglemoss models, like the ISS ships or cloaked vessels.  But... this one was slightly different... looking... and would hopefully continue making my USS Enterprise collection "complete", so I bit the bullet and bought the USS Enterprise from 2254.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode called "The Cage".  You can see a synopsis of that episode at THIS LINK.

It has been a bit since I shared one of my model builds.  With the rewrite of my Eaglemoss vs. The World review of the TOS Constitution Class (you can read that review at THIS LINK), this model came back into the light.

I figured that it was time to give it an article.

Project Time Trap

Sometimes, when I am searching for ideas to kitbash, I have to look no further than actual TV episodes or movies of star Trek.  In the case of this next model, it was an episode of Star Trek: The Animated Series and an episode called "The Time Trap"

This is the story of that random idea and rather quick build...

EMvTW 50: USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (Constitution class)

NOTE:  You can click on most pictures to get a larger view of them.

Rewrites: June 2016 & January 2019

Welcome to article #50 of my Eaglemoss vs. The World series.  I feel a great sense of accomplishment with this article as it means that I have written 50 articles reviewing the Eaglemoss Standard Line of models, three articles about their Special Edition line up, two articles about their Bonus Items, and one article about a Special Collection item.  That's a lot of "reviews".

In this article, we are going to take a look at my massive collection of Constitution Class starships, all in the form of the USS Enterprise (NCC-1701) as we met her in the TV series simply called "Star Trek" or more warmly referred to by that fans as The Original Series (TOS for short).  As of now, my TOS Enterprise collection consists of and Eaglemoss, a Hot Wheels, a 2006 Hallmark ornament, a Furuta, two MicroMachines models, and my last addition to the collection, a Running Press model.
