EMvTW Special 24 - Regula I (R1 Invictus class)

Rewrites: NONE YET

This model has been a long awaited one for us Eaglemoss collectors.  Ever since Eaglemoss released Deep Space Nine way back in Special Issue #1, and then we learned that other stations would eventually follow, we collectors have been begging for Regula 1.  And now we have it, that is, if you are lucky enough to find a source for it.

We first get to see this station in the movie Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982).  We then get to see the station studio model used in various episodes later on TV in various stages of change.

As we go into this review, we can see the checkered flag just around the corner.  This is the second to last review of my Star Trek: The Official Starships Collection series.  While we have still have a shuttle set and two more specials to review, there is just this model and one more of the Standard Issues.

With that being said, this review is going to take a look at The Vidiian Starship.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: Voyager episode called "Fury".

We are getting SOOO close to the last Official Starship Collection model.  There are two more to go after this review.  Out next review is of a ship that didn't really exist.  While it looked and felt real enough, it turns out, it was just an illusion.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: The Next Generation episode called "The Survivors".

EMvTW Extra 25 - USS Enterprise NCC-1701 (Constitution Class) (2254)

NOTE:  You can click on most pictures to get a larger view of them.

Rewrites: NONE YET

I swore to my readers and myself that I would not buy reprints of Eaglemoss models, like the ISS ships or cloaked vessels.  But... this one was slightly different... looking... and would hopefully continue making my USS Enterprise collection "complete", so I bit the bullet and bought the USS Enterprise from 2254.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: The Original Series episode called "The Cage".  You can see a synopsis of that episode at THIS LINK.

First Contact Day is a holiday celebrated to honor both the warp 1 flight of the Phoenix and first open contact between Humans and Vulcans on April 5th, 2063 in Bozeman, Montana.  In June of 2020, Eaglemoss made first contact for us by releasing the Special Edition version of the vessel that made First Contact in 2063.

We first get to see this starship in the movie called Star Trek: First Contact (1996).
