EMvTW 151: B'omar Patrol Ship

With this issue of Eaglemoss vs. The World, we have shot past our 150th review of the Standard Edition models and start the final journey to that last one at #180.  Do we think that Eaglemoss will extend the collection again?  I'm not so sure this time.  They are now scraping the bottom of the barrel for materials to produce.  That is also coupled with the fact that they are now spinning up new collections for other Star Trek ships (like Star Trek Online) as well as other TV series starships (like The Orville).

So for Issue #151, we get to take a look at the B'omar Patrol Ship.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: Voyager episode called "The Raven".

It is a new week for my rally to catch up with a year of missed Eaglemoss vs. The World reviews.  This week starts off with the USS Antares (NCC-9844).

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode called "Favor the Bold".

I have fallen so far behind with my Eaglemoss collection this past year that to catch up with all the reviews, I will have to produce three a week and then after 4 months, I'll be back on track.  As such, every third review will be either a Special Edition, Shuttle Collection, or one of the Shop Exclusive (or Extras as I call them).

This review is going to focus on the shop exclusive, the USS Altair, which was one of Doug Drexler's concept models for the USS Voyager.

We never get to see this ship on screen, which makes this model a non-cannon ship, even though it was the brain child of one of the best Star Trek modelers of all time.

As I finish, or maybe start my own personal "Year Of Hell", it seemed almost fitting that I now am reviewing this model, the Krenim Warship.

We are first introduced to this type of vessel in the Star Trek: voyager episode called "Before and After".

EMvTW 148 - Jem'Hadar Battleship

It has been just a few days over a year since I last wrote a review for this blog.  While I have been keeping busy building other models from time to time, I have not felt motivated enough to do any articles about those builds.  It has just been that sort of year.  I stopped writing this last year because I went into the second half of 2019 feeling kind of crappy.  Things were going really well until about 2 weeks ago and then things "went to shit" again.  I finally decided to just bite the bullet and start collecting the Eaglemoss models again and bury my head into writing the reviews.  We'll see how this therapy goes.  :-)

And so, without any further dragging of feet, I present to you Eaglemoss vs. The World, Issues # 148, which happens to be the Jem'Hadar Battleship.

We first get to see this starship in the Star Trek: Deep Space Nine episode called "Valiant".

Hark! I hear somehing in the distance!!!

It has been exactly one year since my last post here at Deepspace Pat.  A lot has happened over the last two years, and I clearly did not end up where I thought I would at the end of this year long ride. 

And so, it is time for the Phoenix to rise up and start again.

I have decided to bring myself some sort of peace, and feel that it is time to start doing reviews again.  I will start publishing three article a week, timed for Thursday.

Hopefully, my readers are still there...
